In educational settings, da’wah is viewed not only as the act of conveying Islamic teachings but also as a holistic effort encompassing guidance, moral cultivation, and the integration of Islamic values into learners’ daily lives and the broader society. It holds a central role in nurturing faith, developing moral character, and encouraging virtuous behavior, thus forming an essential aspect of Islamic educational practice. Methodologically, this study employs a qualitative framework through an extensive review of relevant literature, which involves analyzing scholarly works, books, and academic sources on da’wah methods, media, and characteristics relevant to education. The study identifies key da’wah approaches applicable in educational contexts: da’wah bil-lisan (oral communication through teaching and preaching), bil-hal (practical exemplification and habituation), and bil-kitabah (written communication and educational media). It also highlights the role of both traditional and modern means, such as textbooks, digital platforms, and interactive learning. This study indicates that effective da’wah in education is characterized by the application of hikmah (wisdom), mau‘izah hasanah (constructive advice), and jidal bil-lati hiya ahsan (respectful dialogue). Its implication is that integrating da’wah with an educational approach that is contextual and adaptive to contemporary developments can enhance the quality of Islamic learning, thereby fostering a generation that is faithful, knowledgeable, and morally upright.
